Reading through FAQ’s can be a good place to lookout for topics to write articles on. If site visitors regularly ask the same questions, these are likely good topics for your article. Another great source to lookout for a topic to write about is your own brain. Think of questions you’ve asked yourself take time to research and find answers. Then answer the question for others and you’re likely to get people reading.
Writing the Article
While selecting a topic can be hard, writing the article can be all the more difficult. An article needs to have a specific point and reader must understand why you’re making that point.
Consider this article for example; once I decided I wanted to write an article on article writing as a link building method I knew it has to have clear instructions. After that it was a matter of deciding what I wanted to cover in the article (picking a topic, writing the article, assessment of the article and submitting the article). After I’m done I’ll publish it in hopes of developing some solid, highly-relevant links and obtain some equally relevant traffic.
You’ll have to decide ahead of time what you need to cover. You should also decide the length of article ahead of time. An article between 500 to 800 words is good. Shorter likely won’t cover everything and longer tends to lose some people.

I admit, I have nothing to say about this. Get people to read your article. Make sure it makes sense to experts as well as novice.
